“Beginner’s Guide to Songwriting is an online, one hour masterclass with a unique combination of holistic and technical songwriting instruction. Getting Started will explore why we are called to songwriting, how to use songwriting as a form of expression, and how to identify the songwriting tools we already possess. Navigating Creativity will include an overview of common chord progressions and song structure, songwriting tricks for non-instrumentalists, and my signature Melody Motivator/Lyric Loosener writing prompts. Finally, participants will learn how to become creative tastemakers and develop their personal sound and writing style in Signature Stew. Attendees will leave with the confidence and clarity to express their musical creativity to the fullest.”

“This intensive six week class is geared towards singers with little to no familiarity with music theory, who would like to gain practical tools for their practice, enhance their musicianship and learn to communicate more effectively with fellow musicians. Through analyzing sheet music from common repertoire and a set of exercises designed for this class, we will learn to make important connections between what we hear and what's on the page and become more attuned to the rhythm, harmony and melody of a song.”
